Here you can see how (starting from the bottom) the natural world has been peeled back, the plants are moved to the sides, to allow for the prescense of the birth of industry, upon which can rest modern civilization. You can see technology spread out from the city, connecting all of us, but not uniting us. The world has become so much larger for everyone, but so much closer, so much more connected at the same time.

War emerges and destruction ensues. We quickly use technology to develop better ways of creating destruction, in fact much of modern technology has been developed because of past wars. Above all of this rises the human soul, ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
